waf.'s Striped Ijebu bucket hats are made of Așǫ Oke fabric, a handwoven fabric produced using cotton which comprises of different coloured threads to deliver one of a kind designs. Created by the Yoruba people of South-Western Nigerian since the 15th century in towns of Iseyin and Oyo, Așǫ Oke is a symbol of high status used to make an variety of men's gowns called Agbada, mens hats called Fila, also ladies' wrappers considered Iro and ladies' head tie's known as Geles. 

In celebration of the authenticity of Așǫ Oke, waf. produced bucket hats made with Așǫ Oke fabric.These hats are available in two colorways, brown and black with each having beige and  off-white stripes with the logo embroidered in white.
